Why is it that you seek the arms of another man for comfort?
The arms of someone who will (eventually) hurt you,
…bringing you right back to where you started,
only this time you’re burdened down with even more baggage
than before…more scars, and a hardened heart.
Why not seek the arms of the One who promises
to take your burdens as though they were My very own?
As My own creation, I long to be with you.
It would be my greatest joy to lavish you
with everything your precious little heart desires,
but this is only possible if you choose Me.
You are chasing after something you will never find in a man,
because the very things you search for are only found in Me.
So with this, you have the freedom to choose.
Is it Me or is it ‘him’?
