Using One Product for Styling: Nurture Water-Locking Gel

This one product wash and go with the Nurture Water-Locking Gel from Hydra Bar Salon tutorial will help you understand how easy it is to use (style with). 

I didn't record the application portion in the shower, but here's what I did:
After I shampooed and conditioned, I had my hair in 4 sections. One by one, I soaked the section with water and applied a small amount of Nurture, making sure to smooth and detangle with my shampoo brush. I then covered with a plastic cap.

The product was created specifically to be applied on SOAKING wet hair, hence the title "water-locking". DO NOT use this on towel dried hair, damp hair, and definitely not on dry hair. Your hair will be sticky and the product won't perform as it's supposed to. 

In the video* I added a tiny bit more of the Nurture while styling for a stronger hold. This is just my preference, this is not a required step. If you prefer a soft/medium hold, don't add any more product during the styling process. I've done it both ways, and I think both are beautiful. It's just that my hair has more volume and it is much softer from day one. I know a lot of ladies prefer that softer, voluminous look.

I dried my hair on medium-low heat under a hooded dryer for 25-30 minutes. My curls were 80-90% dry. I love how fast my hair dries with this product. 

After drying, I left my hair alone for about 3 days and then I started separating the bigger clusters of curls, which gave me a bit more volume and added a bit more shape. 

Pro's about Nurture*
~ The Nurture container had 6oz of gel and I got about 7 uses out of it. I definitely wasn't expecting that! 
~ It's very easy to use. 
~ Easy to detangle with
~ It smells amazing and the smell lingers all week long. 
~ No other product is needed. It truly is a one product styler.
~ My hair looks great from wash day to the following wash day. I could easily stretch the style longer than my usual 8 days.
~ My hair doesn't look or feel weighed down. This means more volume. 
~ I noticed less shedding than usual over the period of time I used it
~ Fast drying time (25-30 minutes). With other products it can take 45 minutes or more
~ Lasting hold
~ Great for keeping your hair hydrated all week long, because it locked in the water.

I honestly couldn't find one CON for the product.
