5 Issues I Back Men On, Completely

*Don’t leave your house half-naked and get an attitude when men stare or make rude comments about you…then turn around and talk about how disrespectful they are. You don’t dress like u respect yourself, so why do u expect more from them?

(Girl, you are a gift, so present yourself in a package that is more presentable.)

* Don’t look down on a man who is trying to get his life together. He made mistakes, just like you, and now he’s doing what is necessary to get back on the right path.

(Girl, don’t be too quick to judge people who seem to be below you. You might need them in the future.)

* Don’t make a good man pay for what homeboy or daddy did in the past. If you feel the need to constantly snoop through his phone, social media accounts, email, etc… then I would suggest you take a step back and look at the (wo)man in the mirror.

(Girl, don’t let your trust issues run off a good man, I hear they’re pretty hard to find.) 😉

*Don’t use a man for his money or connections. If the tables were turned you would be quick to label him a dog.

(Girl, don’t do to others what you don’t want done to you.)

• Don’t create a checklist for your future husband knowing darn well you yourself aren’t even on that level.

(Girl, use your checklist for a self-check. If you don’t make the cut then don’t expect that of the man who shows interest.)
