*Decided to do a pictorial tutorial for all my beautiful curly girls out there. Enjoy!

Twist and curl using gray perm rods (Product: Aunt Jackie’s Flaxseed Gel)

Allow the hair to dry completely. Use a blow dryer to speed up the process, if necessary.

Since I started in the back not really knowing what I was doing, some of them came out like frizzy wand curls.

The plan was to wear my hair down or in a ponytail. The front looked really good while it was down but the back was looking a hot mess so…had to get creative since I wanted the curls in the front to be the main focus of the style. This is what I came up with. I decided to call it “The Classy Pineapple”.

Used this clip to help push the curls forward.

The complete look.

I later noticed the sections that I didn’t use a lot of gel on became frizzy.

FYI: To frame the curls how I wanted, I used bobby pins. Didn’t realize how much I used until it was time to take my hair down. SMH.   🙂

A lot of people seem to be curious as to what I do to style my hair. If you liked this tutorial and are interested in seeing more let me know. And if you have any particular styles you are interested in,  leave a comment below.  Also, if you decide to try this style tag me in your photo. I would love to see it.
